At Driving-Lessons4u we are always looking for new instructors.
We offer a fantastic business package – dual control car, new pupils and full ongoing support.
You don’t need instructor experience, we offer full training, all you need is a passion to be the very best and the commitment to reach our very high standards.
By 2020 we plan to have over 75 local instructors, have you got what it takes?
How do you apply?
It’s probably best to start by contacting one of our experienced instructors, we will talk you through the whole process and discuss how long it will take.
We offer various training packages and will guide you through the studying and the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualifications.
Approved driving instructor (ADI) test and registration fees are set by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) – fees for driving instructor training vary and are set by training organisations. You have to pass the qualifying tests before you register as an ADI with the DVSA.
Our training course can help you become a successful driving instructor. You’ll receive 1-to-1 training from a fully qualified driving instructor trainer.
What’s involved?
There are 3 tests that you will need to pass in becoming a fully qualified driving instructor which are tough and the vast majority of people give up or fail.
Part 1: The first test you will need to pass is a computer based theory and hazard perception test, the pass rates are around 50%, but you can have unlimited attempts to pass.
Part 2: The second test is a practical test of your driving ability, again the pass rates are around 50%.
Part 3: The third part is a practical test of your ability to instruct, by far the toughest test for most people with an average pass rate of around 30%.
